The Calm Before the Storm

While Mercy Lingers

We are living in difficult times by any measure, but the Scriptures warn us of a time of trouble "such as never was" that will soon take the world by surprise. The end of all things is at hand. Now, while Mercy lingers, while there is still time, we must prepare for what is ahead.

The Voice of Mercy calls out to us "Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgement is come, and worship Him who made heaven, and earth, the sea, and the springs of water". The justice of God demands that sinners be punished, and sin be forever eradicated. So His mercy compels Him to make one last call for sinners to repent and accept His salvation.

To those who do, the future takes on a brightness where only darkness had been. This September at Campmeeting, Steve Wohlberg will teach about how to take hold of the Righteousness of Jesus Christ so we can be ready for the "Blessed Hope" - the return of Christ. He will also explain how to avoid being sucked in by some of the deadly deceptions that the Devil will use to decieve people in the last days.

God's word is a light, and His hands will guide us safely through the dangerous times ahead of us. If we will listen to what He says in the Bible, we will be safe. If we just follow the crowd, believing what is popular, we will be mislead.
